Nicholas W. Shultz
Of Arlington Heights
Nicholas W. Shultz, formerly of Naperville, was born on February 15, 1960 in LaGrange to Robert and Julia Elizabeth (nee Higgins) Shultz. He died October 28, 2006 at his home in Arlington Heights.
Mr. Shultz is a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of the American Legion Merle Guild # 208. For the past several years, Nicholas has been employed as an insurance consultant for Mercer Consulting in Chicago. He had previously been employed by both Aon and Metropolitan Life Company. Nicholas was also actively involved with the Indian Princesses program with all three of his daughter.
Nicholas is survived by his wife, Therese M. (nee Horan) Shultz, whom he married on August 6, 1988 in Skokie; his children, Emily, Elizabeth and Hannah Shultz; his mother, Julia Elizabeth Shultz; his siblings, Anne (Paul) Pfeiffer and Marley Shultz; his father-in-law, Raymond P. (Jeanne) Horan; and his brothers-in-law, Brian R. and Thomas J. (Jennifer) Horan.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert; his sister, Mary Shultz; and his mother-in-law, Elean L. (nee McHale) Horan.
Memorial Visitation from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Wednesday, November 1, 2006, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (four blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Memorial Mass 9:30 AM, Thursday, November 2, 2006 at Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights. Committal service at All Saints Cemetery following Mass.
