Stanley Joseph Liput
Of Northbrook

Stanley Joseph Liput, formerly of Arlington Heights, was born on January 10, 1914 in Chicago to John and Katarzyna (nee Jaskalka) Liput. He died Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at ManorCare in Northbrook.

Mr. Liput began his career as a telephone repairman, switchman, and wire chief in 1934, at AT&T, and worked there for the next 45 years, until his retirement in 1979. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and the Arlington Heights American Legion Merle Guild Post #208.

Stanley is survived by his children Lianne (Frank) Cascio of Lake Zurich and Steve (Annette) Liput of Arlington Heights; and his grandchildren Jack and Samantha Liput.

He is preceded in death by his wife Rose Marie Liput; his parents; and his siblings Stella Novak, Caroline Krall, Ed and Henry Liput.

Funeral Service 5:00 PM Sunday, October 29, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (four blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights, with visitation from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment private.
