Richard P. Mazurk was born February 1, 1920 in Chicago to Peter and Lillian (nee Balski) Mazurkiewicz. He died Friday, October 20, 2006 in Green Oaks.
Mr. Mazurk was employed by the Woodwork Corporation of America until his retirement in 1977. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council # 182, 4th Degree member in Chicago.
Richard is survived by his wife, Alice (nee Warzynski); his children,
Richard A. (Nancy) Mazurk of Addison, David P. (Jerrilynn) Mazurk of Cary, and Pamela A. (James) Tukesbrey of Green Oaks; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, LeRoy Mazurk; and his sister, Lillian Lubinski.
Visitation from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Monday, October 23, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (four blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 700 S. Meier Rd., Mt. Prospect for Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles.
