Jonathan Alan Pavlis was born December 7, 1986 in Arlington Heights to Angelo J. Pavlis and Christine Cohen. He died Friday, September 29, 2006.

Mr. Pavlis was a student attending Junior College.

His survivors include his father Angelo J. (Rachel) Pavlis of Arlington Heights; his mother Christine (Steve) Anichini of Ivanhoe; his siblings Alexander and Nicolette Pavlis, Stevie and Isabella Anichini; step-siblings Dean, Nick, Carly and Anthony Anichini; his grandparents John and Ermioni Pavlis, Cindy (Eugene) Perricelli and Alan Cohen; and his girlfriend Jayne Hemphill who is expecting with John’s daughter.

Visitation from 3:00 until 9:00 PM, Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (four blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service 10:30 AM, Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 2350 Dempster St, Des Plaines, Ill. Burial at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.

Due to the unexpected, tragic passing of Jonathan and Jayne’s daughter on October 5, 2006, memorial contributions already received and any future contributions will be used to benefit Jayne Hemphill’s education.
