Helen Chmielewski

Helen Chmielewski was born on September 13, 1930 in Poland, to Jerzy and Fryderyka (nee Galwas) Nowak. She died Monday, September 17, 2012 in Arlington Heights after a valiant battle with heart disease.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Gabriele (Thomas) Zaprzalka; her grandchildren, Anthony and Jessica; her sister, Ursula (the late Wilhelm) Keese; her nieces, nephew, and cousins, and friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Antoni Chmielewski and granddaughter, Ashley Helene.

Visitation Thursday, September 20, 2012 from 3 until 9PM at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. Prayers Friday, September 21, 2012 at 9:15AM at the funeral home proceeding to St. Thomas of Villanova, 1152 Anderson Drive, Palatine for Mass at 10AM. Burial will take place at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles.
