Richard "Dick" Dixon

Richard "Dick" Dixon was born on September 27, 1931 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Edward and Evelyn (nee Mahler) Dixon. He died Monday, September 3, 2012 in Arlington Heights.

Dick served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict as an intelligence officer. After receiving his Master's Degree from Northwestern University, he worked in advertising and marketing for major consumer product accounts, Budget Rent-a-Car Corporation, and afterwards started and managed his own firm, Marketing Dynamics.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Lois (nee Augustine); and proud father of Douglas M. Dixon, M.D of Wilmington, NC.

Visitation Gathering, Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 11:00 am. in the Chapel of Holy Family Catholic Church, 2515 W. Palatine Rd, Inverness, Illinois followed by a Memorial Mass at 12:00 pm. Interment private.
