Jacquelyn A. Mariner
Of Arlington Heights; formerly of St. Pete Beach, FL

Jacquelyn A. Mariner was born on April 21, 1937 in Chicago, to John and Irene (nee Stein) Shealy. She died Monday, September 3, 2012 peacefully in hospice care.

Mrs. Mariner worked for many years at the Archdiocese of St. Petersburg, FL and also for the City of St. Pete Beach. She was active in many ministries, but one of her greatest joys was reconnecting with her old friends and her book club.

Jacquelyn is survived by her children, Bill (Lori) Mariner, John (Vicky) Mariner, Mary (Richard) Woody, Jim Mariner, Patty (Preston) Davis; her grandchildren, Bob and Jessica Mariner, Meghan, Lauren, and Ryan Woody, Tripp Davis; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband, Robert G. Mariner, her son, Michael Mariner, and her parents.

Memorial Mass, 9:30 am, Friday, September 7, 2012 at Our Lady of the Wayside, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights. Private inurnment at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Petersburg, FL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois, 405 Lake Zurich Rd, Barrington, IL 60010.
