Zech, 93, of Arlington Heights, died September 30, 2011 at the Lutheran Home and Services in Arlington Heights, beloved husband of Lorraine Zech; loving father of Lois (Robert Fiscella) Doerr and Paul (Deborah) Zech; loved Grandfather of Tracy (Jon) Inman, David (Stacie) Zech, Michael (Christie) Doerr and great-grandfather of Miles Inman, Evelyn Inman, Sophia Zech, Jacob Zech, Olivia Doerr, and Paxton Doerr; dear brother of Ruth Schweikert and the late Arley Zech.

Visitation Monday, October 3, 2011 from 1 PM until time of funeral service 3 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1025 W. Lake St., Melrose Park, IL 60160.
