Jean M. Freimuth
Of Vernon Hills
Jean M. (nee Knudsen) Freimuth was born March 29, 1921 in Chicago to
Hans and Alva (nee Westman) Knudsen. She died September 11, 2011 at
Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
Mrs. Freimuth was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary
Commodore Barry Unit. She always wore a smile and never tired of loving
and caring for her family.
She is survived by her children, Dennis Freimuth, Greg (Marilyn)
Freimuth and Sue McLennan; her grandchildren, Kelley (Scott) Seafield,
Jeffrey (Lara) McLennan, Kimberly (Tom) Howe, and Kristen Durkee; and
her great-grandchildren, Matthew, Joshua, Andrew, Marygrace, Caden,
Colton, Sarah, Eric, Gwen, MacKenzie, Jorga, Louie and Jeremy.
Jean is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Herbert M.
Freimuth; her parents; and daughter-in-law, Geri Freimuth.
Visitation from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at
the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4
blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights where Funeral Service
will be held Wednesday at 7:00 PM. Interment is private. In lieu of
flowers memorial contributions may be given to Shriners Hospital, 2211
N. Oak Park Ave., Chicago, IL 60635.
