Services for Esther E. Moehling, a 74 year resident of Arlington Heights will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 2, 2010 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 111 W. Olive St., Arlington Heights. Esther was born November 25, 1911 in Itasca, died Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at the Lutheran Home and Services in Arlington Heights.

Esther was a member of the St. Peter Lutheran Ladies Aid and quilted at the Lutheran Home. She enjoyed part time employment at the Lorraine Ann Shop on Campbell St. and Klehm’s Gift Shop.

She is survived by her children, Wayne (Nancy) Moehling, Gerry Friedrichs, and Dean (Shirley) Moehling; her nine grandchildren; her two step grandchildren; her 21 great-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; and her 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Esther is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Moehling whom she married on October 17, 1931; her grandchildren, Tim and Amy; her siblings, Lydia, Edna, Ray, and Harvey; and her parents, George and Clara Forke.

Visitation is from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, October 1, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (four blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and from 10:00 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 2, 2010 at St. Peter Lutheran Church. Interment is at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. Peter Lutheran Church.
