David Zyzda
Of South Barrington

David Zyzda was born September 27, 1963 in Park Ridge to Leonard and Barbara (nee Mueller) Zyzda. He passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at his home in South Barrington.

David worked as a commodities trader at the Chicago Board of Trade, and was coach of the Barrington Broncos Youth Football Team. He was an avid fan of the Barrington High School athletic football, soccer, basketball, baseball, and softball programs in which his children are currently active.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa (nee Bianchi) Zyzda; his loving children, Zachary, Dylan, Olivia, and Jakob; his father and step-mother, Leonard (Susie) Zyzda; his father and mother-in-law, Donald (Lois) Bianchi; his siblings, Katie (Tracy) Turner, and Steve (Joyce) Zyzda; his sister-in-laws, Linda (Bob) Transon, and Laurie (Joe) Ford; his brother-in-laws, Don (Karen) Bianchi and Mike (Kim) Bianchi; and his 12 nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Zyzda.

Visitation is from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights and from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Edna Church. Interment is at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Dave Zyzda Memorial Fund, c/o Barrington Bank and Trust 201 S. Hough St. Barrington, IL 60010
