Anita L. Rotor

Anita L. Rotor was born in Chicago to Charles and Anna Salas. She passed away on Friday, September 24, 2010.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Melvin Rotor whom she married on November 19, 1955; her children, Sue (Fred Techert) Kinney, and Mark (Yolanda) Rotor; her granddaughter, Valerie Kinney; and her brothers, Robert (Helen) Salas and Richard Salas.

Anita is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation is from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights 60004. Prayers 8:45 AM, Thursday, September 30, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights 60005 for Mass at 9:30 AM. Burial is at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.

Anita carries on the tradition started by her mother of doing charity work, which included volunteering with the Clearbrook Retail Store, made countless contributions to Hawthorn Woods Womens Club, Veterans, and animal protection organizations.
