LeRoy
W. “Lee” Tutskey
Of Arlington Heights
LeRoy W. Tutskey was born on November 17, 1917 in Chicago to Hermann and
Olga (nee Kreml) Tutskey. He passed away on September 18, 2010 in
Arlington Heights.
Lee served as a captain in the Army during WWII. While with the 79th
Infantry Division he landed on Utah Beach and was awarded the Bronze
Star for valor. LeRoy retired from Elkay Manufacturing as a Vice
President of Manufacturing. He loved his family, travelling and golfing.
LeRoy is survived by his children, Susan (James) Rice of Chicago, Robert
(Jean) Tutskey of Missoula, MT and Paul (Sara) Tutskey of Kenosha, WI,
his grandchildren Gregory (Angela) Foster-Rice, Christopher (Alice
Bertholin-Rice) Rice, Lisa (Cory) Schubring, Eric (Maria) Tutskey, Adam
Tutskey and Alyssa Tutskey; his great-grandchildren, Graham Tutskey,
Sylvia and Vera Foster-Rice, Annabelle Schubring and Lily and Edie
Tutskey; and his brother, Wilbur (the late Elaine) Tutskey of Carol
Stream.
LeRoy was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Pearl Y. (nee
Pergentini) Tutskey and his infant brother, Willy Tutskey.
Visitation from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, September 23, 2010 at
the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Hts. Rd., ( 4 blocks
south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights where Funeral Service will be held at
7:00 PM Entombment private.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the St.
Joseph Endowment Fund, Atten: Pauline McTernan, 2401 69th St., Kenosha,
WI 53143 or to the American Diabetes Assn., 30 N. Michigan Ave., Suite
#2015, Chicago, IL 60602.
