George and Josephine
(nee Hannon) LaVaque.
She passed away on
September 13, 2009
in Arlington
Heights.
Mary was a loving
wife of 60 years and
a devoted mother to
her 11 children. Her
favorite pastime was
cooking and
listening to the
Cubs. She was active
in the Bible study
group at St. James
Church.
She is survived by
her husband, Robert
W. Hitzeman; her
children, Mary
Eileen (Robert)
DePinto, Kevin (Mary
Dempsey) Hitzeman,
William (Nancy)
Hitzeman, Joan (the
late David) Van
Artsdalen, Cathleen
Guiney, Brian

grandchildren; and

great-grandchild.
She was preceded in
death by her
brother, George
LaVaque and her
sister-in-law, Mary
LaVaque.
