Clara Kotowski,
formerly of Chicago,
was born August 3,
1912 in Chicago,
Illinois to Agnes
(nee Sok) and
Boleslaw Dluzak. She
died September 10 at
her home surrounded
by her family.
Clara was one of 15
children and always
enjoyed the company
of family and
friends. She worked
at Hammond Organ for
many years. She was
active in her
community and in
2001 the Chicago
Park District
awarded her the
honor “Senior
Citizen of the
Year,” where she was
received by Mayor
Daley. Clara loved
to crochet and
welcomed each
grandchild and great
grandchild with a
hand made blanket.
She will forever be
remembered for her
delicious cheesecake
and apple slices.
She is survived by
her sons Ron (Carol)
of Buffalo Grove and
Bill (RoseMary) of
Kildeer and her
daughter Phyllis
Coduto of Arlington
Heights; her
grandchildren

friends.
