Catherine Ann Goffman
Of Elgin, formerly of Prospect Heights

Catherine Ann Goffman was born on September 10, 1928 in Ramsey County, MN to Edward and Anna (nee Schiel) Lightbecker. She passed away on September 22, 2007 in Elgin.

Catherine was a loving housewife and mother. She worked for 20 years as sales manager for Almar’s Jewelers in Buffalo Grove. She was also a former member of the St. Alphonsus bowling league.

Catherine is survived by her children, Joseph (Ami) Goffman of Elgin, Ronald (Nancy) Goffman of Brainard, MN, Carrie Ann Mueller of Palatine, Roxane (David) Fritsch of San Matteo, CA and Michael (Tracey) Goffman of Bristol, WI, eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Goffman.

Memorial Mass 9:30 AM Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at St. Alphonsus Church, 411 N. Wheeling Road, Prospect Heights. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, masses would be appreciated or memorial contributions may be given to St. Alphonsus Church.
