Ronald L. Vogts
Of Arlington Heights

Ronald L. Vogts was born April 4, 1927 in Kansas City, Missouri to Russell H. and Iva Aileen (nee McCool) Vogts. He died Saturday, September 15, 2007 at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.

Mr. Vogts was a former photographer and later owned Kwik Kopy in Elk Grove Village form 1976-1994. He Served in the Coast Guard during WW II. Ronald was a former member of the Arlington Heights Kiwanis Club and Scout Master with the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and bird watching.

His survivors include his wife of 53 years, Peggy M. nee Anderson, whom he married July 14, 1954; his children Nancy (David) Bergmann of Palatine, James (Catherine) Vogts of Hinsdale, Patricia (Jeffrey) Tosello of Westmont and Mary (Jeffrey) Noga of Naperville; his grandchildren Kristin, Carrie, Kendra, Martin, Alexandra, Evan, Joseph, Peter, Abby, Madeline and Nicholas; his brother Arthur Vogts; and his aunt Bernice Wilks.

Visitation from 3:00 until 9:00 PM, Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights and Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights, 302 N. Dunton Ave., Arlington Heights from 1:00 PM until time of funeral service at 1:30 PM. Burial at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
