Zenaida D. Schuerman
Of Prospect Heights

Zenaida "Zenny" Schuerman was born February 1 in Bohol, Philippines to Flaviano and Rosa (nee Pavon) Dumas. She passed away Friday, September 23, 2005 at her home in Prospect Heights.

Mrs. Schuerman worked as a food chemist for Superior Coffee and Foods, a division of Sara Lee. She was also a member of the Illinois Orchid Society, actively involved at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and enjoyed flowers, quilting and painting.

Zenny is survived by her husband Joseph, whom she married June 10, 1978 in Oak Park, Illinois; sisters Rosalinda (Ami) DeLeon, Thelma (Geri) Soriano, Daisy Rivera and brother Alex (Linda) Dumas.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Mass will be Sunday, 6:00 PM at St. Alphonsus Church, 411 N. Wheeling Road, Prospect Heights. Visitation will be at church from 4:00 PM until time of Mass. Burial will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Rowland Heights, California.
