John-Paul Joseph Calandra
Of Wheeling

John-Paul Joseph Calandra was born January 3, 1981 in Park Ridge to Ronald James and Nancy Maria (nee Ramseth) Calandra. He died September 18, 2005 in Chicago.

J.P. Calandra was a 1999 graduate of Wheeling High School. He was very active in sports and he worked as a carpenter. He was a loving nephew, cousin and great friend to many.

John-Paul is survived by his parents; his sister, Katie (John) Kritek; his grandmother, Gloria Calandra; and his step grandmother Phyllis Ramseth.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl Calandra, and James and Dorothy Ramseth,

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2005 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Brook Catholic Church, 3700 Dundee Rd., Northbrook at 10:30 AM. John-Paul will lie in state at church from 9:30 AM until time of service at 10:30 AM. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery.
