Edward L. Heinz
Of Wheeling for 38 years

Edward L. Heinz, age 59, was born July 10, 1946 in Evanston to Jacob and Rose (nee Ehler) Heinz. He died Sunday, September 4, 2005 at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.

Mr. Heinz was a diesel mechanic for Meyer Material 16 years before retiring in 2003.

His survivors include his wife of 39 years, Kathleen M. nee Walsh, whom he married July 16, 1966; his sons Eric (Eric) Heinz of Niles, Devin (Laurie) Heinz of Vernon Hills, his daughter Megan (Craig) Petersen of Round Lake Park; he was loving papa to Abby and Avery; his siblings Clara Rafajko, George (Kay) Heinz and Nicholas Heinz and his sisters-in-law Norine Heinz and Evelyn Heinz; his sister-in-law Patricia (late Dennis) Weiler and brother-in-law Edward (Arlene) Walsh and his many nieces and nephews.

Edward is preceded in death by his brothers Jacob and John and his brother-in-law Jarry Rafajko.

Visitation Thursday, September 8, 2005 from 3:00 until 9:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:00 AM, Friday, September 9, 2005, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., proceeding to St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 181 W. Dundee, Wheeling for Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment private.
