McAlister "Mac" Duncan
Of Buffalo Grove

McAlister "Mac" Duncan was born September 21, 1932 in San Diego, California
to Capt. M.J. and Rhea (nee Bingham) Duncan. He died Sunday, September 4,
2005 at his home.

Mr. Duncan was a systems analyst for Montgomery Wards for over 30 years before he retired in 2000. He attended the University of Missouri and was a member of the Lambda Chi fraternity before serving in the Army during the Korean War, where he was stationed in France.

Mac's survivors include his wife of 52 years Janet (nee McComas) whom he married August 5, 1953; his daughters Gayle (David Wilson) McAlister of Seattle, Washington and Diane (John) Petrash of Gleason, Wisconsin; his nieces Kathy Eberling, Eileen Duncan and Patricia Swarez.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother William

Funeral service 7:00 PM, Friday, August 9, 2005 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Visitation Friday from 5:00 until time of Service at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private.
