Allan L. Antonini
Of Arlington Heights

Allan L Antonini was born February 8, 1938, in Chicago to Amadeo and Mary (nee Cole) Antonini. He died Sunday, September 4, 2005 at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.

Mr. Antonini graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree inaccounting. While at the U of I he participated in wheelchair sports. After working for Baxter Labs, he became a CPA and practiced public tax accounting as Allan Antonini CPA and was associated with Benham, Ichen &
Knox. Allan was a member of the Illinois CPA Society and a former member of the Sidewinders Wheelchair Basketball Team.

His survivors include his wife of 44 years, Astra nee Rigertas; his son Michael (Carolina) Antonini of Arlington, daughter Sharon (Greg) McCollum of Arlington Heights; his grandchildren Michael Antonini, Ryan, Megan, and Shannon McCollum; his sister Patricia (Carmen) Saracco; his long time best friend Charles (Linda) DeBruler and his many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM, Thursday, September 8, 2005 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Visitation Wednesday, September 7, 2005 from 3:00 until 9:00PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to American Diabetes Assn., 30 N. Michigan Ave., Suite #2015, Chicago, IL 60602.
