Johanna M. “Schatzi” Wendling was born on October 31, 1934 in Cicero to Alfred and Johanna (nee Kampert) Hohoff. She passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2013 in Arlington Heights.

Johanna is survived by her husband, Anthony; her children, Peter (Holly) Wendling, Joseph (Rhonda) Wendling, Edward (Sandra) Wendling and Margaret (Gregory) Wolf; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Hannah, Anthony, Alexis, Sabrina, Michael, Luis, Gabriela and Celeste.

Visitation from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Monday, August 12, 2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the Funeral Home, proceeding to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL for Mass at 10:00 am. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
