Warren A. Treutler
Of Arlington Heights

Warren A. Treutler was born on May 4, 1924 in Chicago to Arthur and Wilhelmina “Honey” (nee Schutzner) Treutler. He died Monday, August 5, 2013 in Arlington Heights.

Mr. Treutler started his own business, Warren & Sons Builders, in 1958 in Arlington Heights. He was a WWII veteran, and served with the Air Force in the Pacific Theatre.

Warren is survived by his children, Pamela (Peter) Matteson, Donald Treutler, and Timothy (Deborah) Treutler; his grandchildren, Benjamin (Anna), Bradley, Allison (Ryan), Amanda, Elizabeth, and Emily; his great-granddaughter, Olive; and his siblings, Carolyn (Bill) Moss, and Arthur (Carol) Treutler.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia K. (nee Killian) Treutler and son, Thomas Treutler.

Visitation from 4pm until 9pm, Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. Visitation from 10am until time of funeral service at 11am, Friday, August 9, 2013 at the funeral home. A brief military honors service will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Devil's Lake State Park Nature Center, South 5975 Park Rd., Baraboo, WI 53913.
