Audrey C. Ostler was born on December 14, 1926 in Brooklyn, New York to Raymond and Anne (nee Smith) Cahill. She passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2012 in Arlington Heights.

Audrey worked in New York as a secretary for Time Inc. and later worked in the offices of St. James Parish for 35 years. A native of Brooklyn, she was a life long Brooklyn Dodger fan.

Audrey is survived by her spouse of 63 years, James Ostler Sr.; her children, James Jr. (Kathleen) Ostler, Ray (Barbara) Ostler, Thomas (Kyle Ann) Ostler, Nancy (Timothy) Carracher, Robert (Carol) Ostler, Katherine (Robert) Carmean and Michael (Jo) Ostler; her grandchildren, Colleen (Kurt) Frieders, Kathleen (Shaun Richman) Ostler, James Ostler III, Douglas Ostler, Kelly (Amy Still) Ostler, Patrick Ostler, Timothy S. Carracher, Christopher Carracher, Robert Ostler Jr., James R. Ostler, Elizabeth Ostler and Benjamin Ostler; and her great-granddaughter, Susan Audrey Ostler-Still.

Visitation from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at the Funeral Home, proceeding to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10:00 am. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
