Henry Leonard Staniec
Of Chicago
Henry L. Staniec was born September 23, 1924 in Chicago to Joseph and
Mary (nee Bak) Staniec. He died on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at the Elm
Brook Health Care & Rehabilitation Center in Elmhurst.
He is survived by his children, Daniel Staniec, Patricia (Thomas) Kron,
and Nancy (Martin) Harkins; his grandchildren, Michelle (Brian) Kron-Gray,
Carolyn (Gregory) Kron-Auffenberg, Scott Harkins, Kevin Kron, and
Heather Harkins; and his nieces and nephews, Denise Oleske, Robin
Williams, and Erik Holtz.
Henry was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine (nee Schwartz) Staniec;
his sisters, Eleanor (the late Walter) Pakula, and Lillian Holtz; and by
his parents.
Visitation from 9:00 AM until time of prayers 10:15 AM, Saturday, August
27, 2011 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights
Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights to Our Lady of
the Wayside Parish, 450 S. Mitchell St., Arlington Heights for Mass at
11:00 AM. Interment is at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Make A Wish
Foundation or to your favorite charity.
