Charles Khai Ming
Of Wheeling

Charles Khai Ming was born January 1, 1938 in Burma to Hlun Thaan and Hluai Yin Lee Chen. He died on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Hospital in Chicago.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jessie (nee Warmington) Ming whom he married April 17, 1964; his children, Jeanette (Albert) Sungvoom, Thet Khaing, and Lei Lei (Nay Lynn Kyi) Khaing; his grandchildren, Ashley Lynn, Samantha Sungvoom, Joseph Sungvoom, Hitoshi, and Cruiz; his siblings, C. Khai Liang, C. Hliu Moy, C. Hliu Len, and C. Khai Fu; his step-siblings, C. Khai Hing, C. Khai Sing, C. Hliu Mie, C. Khai Thiang, C. Hliu Fong, C. Than Than Nwe, C. Khai Ving, and C. Than Than Khine: and his many nieces and nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday, August 19, 2011 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights, and Saturday, August 20, 2011 from 11:00 AM until time of Funeral Service 12:30 PM at South Church, 501 S. Emerson, Mt. Prospect. Interment is at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights.
