Virginia O. Brodnan
Of Arlington Heights
Virginia O. Brodnan was born January 20, 1920 in LaBelle, Missouri to
Hough and Monie Mae (Nee Morgan) Wilson. She died on Friday, August 12,
2011 at her home in Arlington Heights.
Mrs. Brodnan worked as a teller with Arlington National Bank for 25
years until her retirement. She was the longest living member of the
First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights, where she was a former
church Elder, and a Sunday school administrator for many years. She
frequented the Arlington Heights Senior Center where she volunteered for
several years in the cafeteria.
She is survived by her sons, Gary Lee (Kathleen) Brodnan, and Dr. John
Michael (Susan) Brodnan; her grandchildren, Molly Anne (Craig) Grave,
Matthew Pace and Rebecca JoAnne Brodnan; her great-grandchildren, Andrew
and Amelia Grave; and her brothers, Royal “Bill”, and Wallace Wilson.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Brodnan; her
parents; and five siblings.
Visitation from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at the
Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks
south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights where Funeral Services will be
held at10:30 AM, Wednesday, August 17, 2011. Interment is at Arlington
Heights Wheeling Township Cemetery.
