Theodore L. Larson
Of Arlington Heights

Theodore L. Larson was born on March 9, 1923 in Chicago to Theodore and Stella (nee Orchel) Larson. He passed away on August 7, 2011 at the Pepper Family Hospice in Barrington.

Mr. Larson served in the Army during WWII, where he was awarded the Purple Heart. He enjoyed cards, gardening, bowling and traveling with his wife. They celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on July 28, 2011.

Theodore is survived by his wife, Edith (nee Rockefeller); his children, Larry (Pat), Mark (Mary Kay), Loni Homa, Thea (Jim) Heitman and Cari Dickson; his grandchildren Breton, Jake, Emily, Adam, Colton, Erik and Robyn; great grandchildren Rogan and Everly and his sister-in-law Sylvia Rockefeller.

He is preceded in death by his grandson, Nathan, his son-in-law, Denny Homa; his parents; and his sister, Dorothy (Fred) March.

Funeral Service 7:30 PM, August 11, 2011, Visitation 5:00 PM until time of service at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment Private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Hospice & Pallative Care of Northeastern Illinois, 405 Lake Zurich Road, Barrington, IL 60010-3141.
