Regina Cecelia Thommes

Regina Cecelia Thommes was born November 11, 1924 in Evanston. She passed away on August 22, 2010 in Barrington.

Mrs. Thommes worked as a clerk and auditor in customer service for AT&T for 24 years, and she enjoyed reading and cooking.

She is survived by her children, James A. (Martin Majchrowicz) Thommes of San Francisco, California, Jeffrey J. (Debra) Thommes of Hawthorn Woods, and Gary W. (Yvonne) Thommes of Hampshire; her grandchildren, Lauren, Jimmy, Meghan, Caille, and Ryan; her brothers, Stan, Ted, and Joe; and many nieces and nephews.

Regina is preceded in death by her husband, James L. Thommes; her parents; and her sister, Helen.

Visitation from until 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 8:45 AM Thursday, August 26, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 450 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights for Mass at 9:30 AM. Burial is at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
