James McCarthy II
Of Rolling Meadows

James McCarthy II, formerly of Ft. Myers Florida and Ft. Wayne, Ind., was born July 7, 1944 in San Diego, California, to James and Rosemary (nee Mulherton) McCarthy. He died August 7, 2010 at the ManorCare of Rolling Meadows.

Before retiring Mr. McCarthy was owner of J. McCarthy And Associates, a medical billing company. He was an avid golfer and served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.

James is survived by his children James III (Kaki) of Minneapolis, Minn., Tamara (Dennis) Henman of Ft. Wayne, Ind., Bridgette (Jay Dennis) McCarthy of South Whitley, Ind., and Ben McCarthy of Rolling Meadows; his 12 grandchildren ; 3 great grandchildren; his siblings Roseanne (Eugene) Ahern, Joseph, Mary Jane, Susan and Elizabeth; his niece Theresa (Michael) Markham; and his former daughter-in-law Sheila McCarthy.

James is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Eileen Killebrew.

Memorial visitation from 10:30 until time of Memorial Service at 11:30 AM, Saturday, August 14, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society, 1114 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
