Patrick Moriarty was born on March 23, 1924 in Cork, Ireland to James and Lena (nee Harrington) Moriarty. He passed away on August 1, 2010 in Chicago.
Patrick was a member of I.B.E.W. Local 134. He also taught ballroom dance for many years.
He is survived by his children, Aiden (Eileen) Moriarty of Mt. Prospect, Colleen (Lonn Naudzius) Moriarty of Park Ridge and Patrick (Christina) Moriarty of Arlington Heights; his grandchildren, Michael, Brendan, Luke, Eleanor, Patrick, Megan and Sean; his sisters, Peggy, Lillian and Mary Ellen and his former wife, Mary Moriarty.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sisters, Kathleen and Eileen.
Visitation 4:00 to 9:00 PM Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Funeral Mass 11:00 AM Thursday, August 5, 2010 at Saint Mary Parish, 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove. Interment Saint Mary Parish Cemetery.
