Of Buffalo Grove
Maureen Joy Farrissey was born October 14, 1933 in Fall River, MA to Theodore and Sadie Mercier. She died Saturday, July 31, 2010 in Vernon Hills.
She has been a resident of Buffalo Grove for over 40 years. She worked for Kemper Insurance for over 25 years as a claims adjuster. She was also a long time member of St. Mary’s Church in Buffalo Grove. She married Andrew Farrissey in Fall River, MA in November 29, 1958.
Her survivors include her two sons Andrew (Laura) Jr., and Bryan (Wendy); and, her grandchildren Lindsey and John Farrissey, and Jaclyn and Jess Wagner.
Maureen is preceded in death by her husband, and her parents.
Visitation from 4-8 PM Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) , Arlington Heights. Funeral Mass 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at St. Mary’s Catholic Parish, 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River, MA.
