R. Stanley “Stan” Young
Of Glen Ellyn

R. Stanley Young was born July 30, 1952 in Orlando, Florida to John Richard and Mary Ann (nee Klein) Young. He died Sunday at his home.

Mr. Young was a partner with KPMG and formerly CFO of Brookdale Living and Holiday Retirement. He was a board member of the Harbour Foundation and on the fundraising committee of Wheaton Academy.

Stanley’s survivors include his wife of 34 years Candice Ann (nee Milewski) Young, whom he married May 31, 1975; his children Kyle (Stephanie) Young, Lauren (Kevin) Wright and Lucas Young; grandchildren Lauren and Madelyn; His parents, his brother Robert Allen (Dr. Ruth Watkins) Young; his father-in-law Ed Milewski; his sister-in-law Sandra (Dennis) Brown; his brother-in-law John (JoAnna) Milewski; and his nieces and nephews Kimberly Young, Brooks (Scott) Bennett-Miller, Blair Bennett, Katie(Cole) Elder nee Powell, Jacob, Alex and Elizabeth Milewski and Gregory Baker.

Stan is safely home in the arms of his savior Jesus Christ.

Visitation from 4:00 until 8:00 PM, Thursday, August 20, 2009 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights and from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 21, 2009 at Orchard Evangelical Free Church, 1330 N.
