James Francis Larkowski
Of Arlington Heights

James Francis Larkowski was born December 4, 1946, to Edward and Frances (Nowobielski) Larkowski in Chicago. He died August 16, 2009 at ManorCare of Rolling Meadows.

Mr. Larkowski was a Senior Sales Representative for Cummins Allison from 1997 to present. He was formerly employed with Bruske Products, Bailey, Banks & Biddle, Wenzel Jewelers and Inland Steel.

James was a member of Rotary International in Barrington and served as Rotary Club President, and was a Paul Harris Fellow. He was a member of the Delta Sigma Pi Fraternity and the American Gemological Society, and was an avid bowler.

His survivors include his wife of 41 years, Sandra (nee Bates) whom he married on September 7, 1968 in Chicago; his children Stephen (Julie), Keith (Jill), and Sgt. Mark Larkowski; his grandson Justin James; and a brother Roger (Judy) Larkowski.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation Wednesday August 19, 2009 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Thursday, August 20, 2009at the funeral home to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment private.
