Janette A. Long was born February 12, 1925 in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin to Floyd and Remunda (nee Gratton) Benjamin. She died Friday, August 22, 2008 at her home.

Mrs. Long was a homemaker

She is survived by her daughter Mary Britton; her granddaughters Kristen, Katy and Michelle Britton; her sister Shirley Teofilo and her brother Lowell (Lorraine) Benjamin

Janette was preceded in death by her husband John R. Long and her brother-in-law.

Visitation from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Interment at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Hillside.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Vincent De Paul Society at St. Edna Church.
