Lifelong resident of Evergreen Park
Maureen Murphy, nee Toolan, 55, lifelong resident of Evergreen Park, beloved wife of Jack; loving mother of Jason (Kelly), Shaun, Michael, Matthew and the late Patrick; loved grandmother of Brennah, Maggie, Jack and Nathan; dear daughter of Joseph F. and Patricia Toolan; fond sister of Jolene (Vincent) Churak and Michael (Kay) Toolan.
Maureen spent over 25 years in public service including positions as Cook County Board of Review Commissioner, Illinois State Representative-36th District, Worth Township Clerk, Worth Township Republican Committeeman, Dist. 231 School Board Member and numerous civic and community organizations.
Memorial visitation Saturday, August 16, 2008 from 9:30 AM until time of memorial mass at 10:30 AM at Queen of Martyrs Church, 3550 W. 103rd St., Evergreen Park. Interment services held privately.
