Sophie Ceisel

Sophie Ceisel was born on May 12, 1926 in Deutch-Proben, Slovakia to Johann and Margarethe Wesserle. She passed away on August 7, 2008 in Park Ridge.

Sophie is survived by her children, Albert (Brenda) Ceisel, Marge (the late Frank Lucente) Schultes, Chris Schmuker, and Edie Ceisel; her grandchildren, Ryan (Nicole) Schultes, Joe Ceisel, Scott (Anna Kuroczycka) Schultes, Jessica (Andrew) Tealander, Janette (Jesse) Miller and Peter Schmuker; her great-granddaughter, Kenzie Miller; her brother-in-law Jakob (Mina) Ceisel; her sister-in-law, Hedi Ceisel and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Josef J. Ceisel, whom she married on February 5, 1950 in Burguffeln, Germany, her siblings, Margit, Millie, Alois, Anton and Leni; her bother-in-law, Rudolf Ceisel.

Visitation from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday, August 10, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (four blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and from 9:00 AM, Monday, August 11, 2008 until the time of Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 N. Ela Street (1/2 block North of Main Street), Barrington. Interment private.
