Edward R. “Lucas” Luczak

Edward R. “Lucas” Luczak was born May 27, 1920 in Chicago, he died August 4, 2008 at his home in Arlington Heights.

Mr. Luczak was a member of the VFW in Mosinee, WI.

Edward is survived by his wife Evelyn (nee Pienta) Luczak, whom he married May 16, 1948 at Holy Trinity Church in Chicago; his children Wayne (Judy) Luczak of Buffalo Grove and Joyce (Keith) Moens of Arlington Heights; his grandchildren Amy, Eric and Scott Moens.

Ed is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Evelyn Gruszucka.

Visitation Wednesday August 6, 2008 from 3 until 9 PM, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 8:45 AM, Thursday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights for Mass at 9:30 AM. Burial at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
