Edward C. Carlson, 82, of Buffalo Grove, formerly of Mt. Prospect and Lake Worth, Florida was born in Duluth, MN, dearest husband of Elizabeth “Betty” nee O’Connell; cherished father of Gregory (Laura) Carlson, Barry Carlson and the late Moira (Patrick) McGrath; loving grandfather of the late Blake, Grant, Olivia, Chloe and Nathaniel Carlson and Kevin, Michael, Dillon and Maeve McGrath. 

Mr. Carlson was a WWII Navy veteran.  He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Electrical Engineering.  He also received an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.  He was founder and President of Carlson Electronics Sales which celebrated fifty years in business last year.
