Arthur Harry LaVine
Of Arlington Heights

Arthur Harry LaVine was born May 26, 1925, to William and Gladys (nee Buhler) LaVine in Chicago. He died Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village.

Mr. LaVine was a CPA employed for over 30 years with the Oak Park School District. He served as a Corporal in the Marine Corps during WW II and was a sharpshooter.

His survivors include his wife of 59 years Lila V. (nee) Zanner, whom he married July 17, 1948; his daughter Lynn (Andrew) Lyons of Inverness; his grandchildren Justin Arthur Wolff and Andrew Joseph Lyons III.

Arthur is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation from 3 until 9 PM, Thursday, August 23, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service 10 AM, Friday, August 24, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment will be on the family lot.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Arthur LaVine Memorial, C/O Glueckert Funeral Home.
