Arthur P. Maciejewski

Arthur P. Maciejewski was born January 15, 1921 in Chicago to Anton and Rose (nee Weiland) Maciejewski. He died Friday, August 17, 2007 at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.

Mr. Maciejewski was a retired machinist employed for many years by Colombia Tool & die in Glenview. He was a 50-year plus member of the Knights of Columbus Lafayette Council #361.

His survivors include his wife of 66 years Alice nee Chmura whom he married June 14, 1941; his children Barbara (Michael) Kledzik, Carol (Harold) Root, Donna (Al) Russ, Alice (Bill) Haas, Arthur Maciejewski, Susan (Ralph) Meixner, Christine (Kenneth) Schmidt, Timothy (Nadine) Mack Maciejewski and Ronald (Alice) Maciejewski; 17 grandchildren and his 17 great grandchildren.

Arthur is preceded in death by his son Michael and his parents.

Visitation from 3:00 until 9:00 PM, Monday, August 20, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:00 AM, Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. Mary Catholic Church, 794 Pearson St., Des Plaines for Mass at 10:00 AM. Burial at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
