Ernest F. Lidge, D.D.S. was born January 21, 1926 in Chicago to Ernest F and Renee (nee Engel) Lidge M.D. He died August 5, 2006 in Arlington Heights.

Dr. Lidge had a dental practice in Arlington Heights from 1952 until his retirement in 1995.

He is survived by his wife, Helene (nee Driussi); his children, Professor Ernest F. (Christine) Lidge III, Dr. Kenneth George Lidge; and Dr. Douglas Christian (Lesley) Lidge; his step-daughters, Cynthia (Andrew) Blair and Kimberly (Rick) Larsen; his grandchildren, Walker, Grace, David, Soren, Joshua, and Samantha; and his brother, Ralph T. (Jackie) Lidge.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lorraine (nee Lorch).

Visitation 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Friday, August 11, 2006 at the GlueckertFuneral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (four blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights and Saturday August 12, 2006 from noon until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights, 302 N. Dunton Ave., Arlington Heights. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the First Presbyterian Church Chancel Choir Music Program at the address listed above.
