June Bengtsen
Of Des Plaines

June Bengtsen was born June 25, 1931 in Sullivan, Illinois to Claude and Vivian Casey. She died Saturday, August 5, 2006 at Park Ridge Care Center after battling cancer.

Before retiring, Mrs. Bengtsen was Director of Public Relations for Forest Hospital in Des Plaines and produced a radio program entitled "Search for Mental Health." Later she worked as a self employed public relations consultant.

Her survivors include her sons Paul Bengtsen of LaSalle, Illinois and Phil (Lynn) Bengtsen of Arlington Heights; and her grandchildren Casey, Cory, Paige, Erik, Andrew and Tyler; her step-brother Carl Casey and step-sister Madeline Beckman.

Preceded in death by her parents; her step-brother Bill Hutton.
