Of Arlington Heights

Frederick D. England, age 79 was born March 5, 1926, in Girard, Illinois toJoseph H. and Chrystal V. (nee Boch) England. He died Thursday August 25, 2005 at the Lutheran Home and Services.

Fred retired in 1991 as a produce buyer for Topco Co. of Skokie after 15 years of service. He was a World War II Army Air Corp veteran. Fred was a third generation grocer and an avid bridge player and golfer.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Catherine R. (nee Davidson) whom he married on December 26, 1953. Children: Beverly (Tom) Chiotti of Sarasota, Florida and Barb (Jeff) Peterson of Palatine. Grandchildren: Abby, Danny and Andy. Mother: Chrystal England of Plymouth, Michigan. Sisters: Nancy (Paul) Skinner of Dearborn, Michigan and Sally (the late Glenn) Smith of Brighton, Michigan. Loved by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Joseph H. England

No Visitation. Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. in charge of arrangements.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 M, Friday, September 2, 2005 at the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights, 302 N. Dunton Ave., Arlington Heights, IL 60004

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights.
