Charles L. Jeuell
Of Arlington Heights
Charles L. Jeuell was born February 16, 1938 in Wilmington, Delaware to
Lousell S. and Elizabeth C. (nee Huber) Jeuell. He died August 18, 2005
at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.
Dr. Jeuell was a clinical chemist for G.D. Searle which was acquired by
Monsanto, then by Pharmacia and later by Pfizer, before retiring in
2003.
He did postdoctoral research with Dr. George A. Olah at Case Western
Reserve
University in Cleveland, Ohio and was a Diplomate of the American Board
of Clinical Chemistry. Charles received his Ph.D from the University of
Pittsburgh, Master of Science from Penn State University, Bachelor of
Science from Muhlenberg College.
His survivors include his wife Carol Ann (Nee Uhrik) Jeuell of 33 years,
whom he married on June 4, 1972, his children Christopher and Abigail
Jeuell, his mother Elizabeth C. Jeuell, his sister Betty Lou Whittaker,
and his nephews Alex and Andrew Whittaker.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Visitation Sunday, August 21, 2005 from 3:00 until 7:00 PM at the
Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks
south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service will be 2:00
PM Monday, at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 1234 N. Arlington Heights
Rd., lie in state at church from 1:00 P.M. until time of service. Burial
will be in Arlington Heights Wheeling Township Cemetery.
