Thomas W. Thoresen
Of Long Grove

Thomas W. Thoresen was born April 4, 1948 in South Bend, Indiana to Thomas H. and Francis A. (nee Zilsberger) Thoresen. He passed away Friday, August 12, 2005 at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.

Thomas was an Air Force Veteran. He worked for Air Draulics Engineering for the past 20 years, owning the company for the last 10.

Thomas is survived by his wife Kathleen (nee Duffy), whom he married May 31, 1981 in Arlington Heights; his son Robert and daughter Kaitlin; and sister Barbara Schmadbeck; as well as many nieces and nephews..

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in- aw Bill Schmadbeck.

Visitation for Thomas Thoresen will be held Monday, August 15 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd.(4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights, IL 60004.

Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the Thomas W. Thoresen's Children's Educational Fund, C/O Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd.
