Mark R. Rymsza
Of Arlington Heights

Mark R. Rymsza age 84 was born February 3, 1921 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Walter P. and Stella (nee Gates) Rymsza . He died August 10, 2005 at the Claremont Rehab and Living Center in Buffalo Grove.

Mark was a veteran of WWII Army Air Corp serving in the Southwest Pacific based in New Guinea. He was a Captain for United Airlines where he flew multiple types of aircraft throughout his 35 ½ year career retiring in 1981 where at that time he flew the 747 on a route to and from Honolulu, Hawaii.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marcia R. (nee Wlodarczyk) whom he married on October 25, 1941. Children: Mark T. (Ann) of Arlington Heights; Jim (Lynn) of Cary; Mike (Marcy) of Scottsdale, AZ; Gloria Rymsza; Dan (Connie) of Arlington Heights; and Bill (Carol) of Libertyville. Grandfather of 14. Great Grandfather of 10.

His parents precede him in death.

Visitation will be Sunday August 14, 2005 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers will be held Monday at 9:15 AM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., proceeding to St. Alphonsus Church, 411 N. Wheeling Road, Prospect Heights for Mass at 10:00 AM. Burial will be at All Saints Cemetery.
