Michael J. Donato
Of Arlington Heights

Michael J. Donato was born February 1, 1919 in Rovito, Italy to Paul and Clorinda (nee Sproviero) Donato. He died Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at the Lutheran Home and Services in Arlington Heights.

Mr. Donato was a crane operator for the GM Division in LaGrange for 35 years. He loved his new country, and the streets were paved with gold.

He is survived by his children, Jim (Ann) Donato of Rosemont, Gerald (Joan Gaustad) of Richmond, VA, and Theresa Donato of Arlington Heights; his grandchildren Lisa Marie (Jeffrey Rose) Donato and Daniel Michael (Alexandria See) Donato.

He is preceded in death by his wife Rose; his parents; and his brother.

Visitation Sunday, from 3:00 PM until time of service at 7:30 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights.
