Mae E. Darmstadt
Of Arlington Heights

Mae E. Darmstadt, formerly of Lake in the Hills and Prospect Heights, was born July 22, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois to George and Della (nee McGreevey) Felten. She died Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Darmstadt was a homemaker and former secretary for Illinois Bell Telephone Company. She was a music lover and enjoyed the outdoors especially trees, flowers and Lake Michigan.

Mae's survivors include her children Fred Darmstadt of Hayward, Calif., Mary (Tim) Hennie of Sailsbury, North Carolina and Joe (Robin) Darmstadt of Arlington Heights; her grandchildren Tim and Jill Hennie; her great grandson Connor; her sisters-in-law Anne Gosch and Dottie Gallucci; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Frederick Charles Darmstadt, her parents and her brother George Felten.

Visitation Friday, August 5, 2005 from 3:00 until 8:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Saturday, August 6, 2005 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., proceeding to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10:00 AM. Burial will be at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
